About Robert Mischke

I am genuinely fascinated by what large language models and coding agents make possible. The acceleration can be far beyond a factor of ten, and it feels like a rare gift to be inside this shift while it happens.

I still like writing code. I just do not miss writing all of it by hand. The new abstraction layer is more interesting: tasks, context, quality, evidence and orchestration demand more judgement, but the output can be much larger.

Maintainer

Why this feels so big

The early web made me want to build websites and web publications. This shift feels bigger, faster and more demanding. It does not make software work easier; it changes where the hardest thinking happens.

Manual coding used to be the center of gravity. Now the work increasingly starts with defining the right task, giving the agent useful context, steering the run and deciding whether the result should enter the product.

When that works, the acceleration can be absurd. The old software rules still apply, but the throughput changes so much that it feels like a new medium.

Abstraction

The work moved up

Writing less code by hand is not a loss I feel strongly. The interesting question is how to turn agent output into reliable software without pretending that generation itself is the product.

That is demanding work. It requires architecture, judgement, quality standards, tests, review and a feel for when a task is too large or too vague.

Agent Studio is built for that layer: not to make thinking disappear, but to keep tasks, context, evidence and decisions visible while agents move fast.

Contact

Lychen, Berlin and direct contact

I split my weeks between Lychen and Berlin. Berlin is usually busy, but I am happy to meet for lunch when it fits. Lychen is the calmer place, and the water is part of the point.

If you are also excited about LLMs, AI and coding agents, write me. And if you enjoy being on the water as much as I do, consider Lychen. It is a fantastic place to connect.

Paid engagements — consulting or custom development around Agent Studio — also start with a direct email.
